The medical center came as a result of the need we saw in the community first with our children at the home getting sick and continually spending money on medical care which was not to a good standard in the local Clinics and medical centers. Second the need for a fully functional medical center to serve the community providing excellent quality care at the least cost.
Our medical center serves people in Mende and Wakiso Town Council with world class medical care at an affordable cost.
Life expectancy in Uganda is 59.19 years, the goal for the medical center is to not just treat but help educate communities about prevention measures, by so doing we are preventing creating more orphans as parents of children in our communities will be able to live longer and care for their own kids.
We are now at the final stages of building our 8 patient facility medical center, it will handle general outpatient with an operating room that will handle minor surgeries and Cesarian Sections. It will start operating at the beginning of 2016.
